Boston Herald Spotlights BASE Partnership with the Boston K Men

On April 23rd, 2023, the Boston Herald published an article highlighting the history of the Boston K Men and their ongoing partnership with The BASE. The group, turning 25 this year, has become part of the Fenway Park experience by celebrating strikeouts by Red Sox pitchers, and in recent years has partnered with The BASE to provide game tickets for our student-athletes and raising funds to support our sports programs.

Channel 5 WCVB-TV Features The BASE College Advising Program

At The BASE in Roxbury, kids ages six to 19 are coached to succeed in sports and in life. Founder Robert Lewis Jr. said it’s all about connecting them with opportunity. “Talent is everywhere,” he said. “We want to ensure that our kids get the access and opportunities for them to succeed. When we do that, there will be generational change.”
